The Opening Plenary Session will feature a guest speaker from the Special Libraries Association - State of Michigan Chapter. This session will also include announcements of changes to the schedule. This session will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the Rackham Ampitheatre.

Paula Marguerite Storm is Assistant Professor and Science and Technology Librarian at Eastern Michigan University. Her subject areas include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Math and Engineering Technology. Her research areas of interest include the scholarship of teaching and learning as it relates to information literacy, STEM student retention, and the use of Google in scholarly research. She is President of Michigan Chapter SLA for 2008.
