Students interested in presenting during a panel session should submit the following items to questioningauthority2008@gmail.com, with “QA submission by ” in the subject line:

  • A single page description of the applicant’s poster or paper topic

  • Contact information for the applicant

Students are permitted to present group projects. Both items are due March 1, 2008 by midnight EDT. If you have any questions, please email questioningauthority2008@gmail.com. Applications will be reviewed by a student panel from multiple institutions and applicants will be notified by March 3, 2008 of their decision (or earlier). The page submitted on the proposed topic should not include the author’s name (so that a blind selection process can occur).

In addition to developing a paper on their topic of interest, students are also required to present the paper for an audience of colleagues. The presentation should be ten to twelve minutes long and the presenter will have computer/projection capabilities. Students presenting papers will be asked if a recorded version of their presentation and/or final paper can be published on the conference website (authors can decide to decline without penalty of exclusion from the conference).
